Distressed Craftsmanship: Reconstructing Fabric & Leather
Using hand tools such as files and rollers, we deliberately disrupt thesurface structure of high-density fabrics and leather to simulatenatural fiber breakage and wear.
Multiple layers of wax are then applied and hand-polished repeatedly,creating layered tonal depth - traces of time embedded into bothfabric and leather.
Each pair is individually hand-distressed.
The wear patterns and tonal variations are unique to every pair andcannot be exactly replicated.
